This is the perfect dessert for your dogs to enjoy on a hot day. After preparing it in the blender, I froze it in a plastic container so that it morphed into more of a frozen ice cream loaf. My dogs had already had breakfast on the day that I made this, so I cut one piece and plopped it into a bowl for the two of them to share. Every now and then, their tongues would get cold and they’d take a break from the dessert and head over to their water bowls for a sip. But as soon as they warmed up for a second, they were right back at it. Not many dogs can resist the temptation of peanut butter!

Fans know Henry Winkler best from his iconic character “The Fonz” from the popular 70s and 80s sitcom “Happy Days.” But his dogs see him in a completely different role—actually, a few different roles. BeChewy caught up with Henry Winkler, who stars in HBO’s new dark comedy “Barry,” to discuss life with his rotating menagerie of pups, his favorite way to keep them entertained, and which of his furry friends has eaten one of his acting contracts.

According to Dr. Margaret Gruen, clinical assistant professor at NC State Veterinary Medicine School, the majority of a dog’s adult teeth will be in place by about six months of age. This is a good time for pet owners to start thinking about dental care. “Brushing dogs’ teeth is a great idea, and starting when their adult teeth have come in can help them to be comfortable with the procedure,” she says. We surveyed several dog owners to hear their most embarrassing dog park moments and, after getting a good laugh from some of these (the others were a tad cringe-worthy), asked dog trainer and author Victoria Schade and Move That Tail founder Brandy Diaz to weigh in on how these types of situations can be properly handled and avoided in the future.
